Brooke Turner’s new song Wish I Could Forget You is on the Upfront Club and the Commercial Pop charts of Music Week. It has been at number four for two weeks and is moving up at a steady pace. Its first week of release it hit the number 14 spot on King of the Spins charts, which is a pretty amazing thing to do. Wish I Could Forget You was written by Brooke and produced by Patrizio Moi. He is one of the hottest music producers on the L.A. music scene today and he has successfully produced not only Brooke’s music but he has also worked as a producer for Justin Bieber, Meghan Trainer and Gallant, to name just a few of the many artists he’s worked with.
Brooke’s beautiful voice has been entertaining people since she was 7 years old. Apparently, one of the first ones to appreciate her exquisite sound was her choir teacher. Brooke says that when her teacher noticed her singing voice she told her parents that Brooke should hone her talent and take lessons. That, of course, was the beginning of Brooke’s venture into the music world. She and her parents naturally envisioned, and rightfully so, enrollment at Julliard and then the next natural progression would be as a lead singer in the New York Metropolitan Opera.
When she was 15, things changed again for this very talented Canadian. Did I say Canadian? Yes, I did. The nicest people come from Canada – along with Australia and maybe one or two other countries. But we have diverged from our story…Oh, Canada! Okay, let’s move on. When Brooke was 15, she took a songwriting class that changed her life. No more opera, no more Julliard for her. It was going to be straight pop music for Brooke after she started writing songs. When she wrote songs she saw that she could express herself artistically and emotionally and most importantly, musically, which was her passion. She also saw felt that her ability to create pop music with great lyrics gave her confidence to go into the music industry and she got a new understanding of herself as a person and an artist.
Brooke is a talented songwriter, singer, musician who has succeeded in establishing herself in a very hard industry to break in to. She has done it with a great deal of hard work and dedication and a lot of talent.
