Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the world’s most celebrated athletes, and when you see the new commercial for his ROC 360 headphones, take a close look at his leading lady. She’s up-and-coming actress Paloma Fevi, a native of Peru and recent graduate of the New York Film Academy. This is the latest of several commercials scored by the aspiring starlet – and she learned about this big break only hours before she was to audition. She told us she was incredibly nervous because she had to quickly learn a long monologue extolling the tech that makes these headphones stand out from the competition. That’s what Paloma did when she strolled into the audition room – the very last of a parade of actresses who could’ve been her sisters. She explained to us that she never feels uncomfortable when she sees so many people that look exactly like her.
Instead, she’s happy that so many of her fellow Latinas getting auditions and an opportunity to grow in this acting industry. “If we love each other and help each other,” she says, “we can achieve great things.” Sisterly love aside, only one actress would get the job – and it was Paloma. She booked the job as a referee in an amusing competition between Cristian Ronaldo and someone who, shall we say, is not quite up to his level of competition.
